The trekking trail is on the least traveled and undisturbed remote areas of Annapurna. So, the scenic surrounding, impressive villages and old monasteries in upper Manang region has only been explored by a few people.
This region was forbidden to the outside world until the last few decades. You can witness its villages enriched with ancient culture and breath-taking scenery of mountains and unique landscapes. The trek areas are close to Damodar Himal in the north and Annapurna in the south.

Day 01: On arrival at Kathmandu airport (1,340m) and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: At Kathmandu with options for sightseeing tour and trek preparations.
Day 03: Drive to Jagat (1,440m) via Syange (980m) and Besisahar town (860m) – 7/8 hrs.
Day 04: Trek to Dharapani (1,920m) via Tal Besi (1,745m) and Chamje – 6/7 hrs.
Day 05: Trek to Kotto (2,560m) near Chame (2,670m) – 5/6 hours.
Day 06: Trek to Dharma-Sala (3,230m) – 5/6 hours.
Day 07: Trek to Kyang (3,020m) – 5/6 hours.
Day 08: Trek to Phu village (4,080m) – 6/7 hours.
Day 09: Rest day in Phu village for acclimatization.

Day 19: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara (860m) – 20 mins flight and transfer to hotel.
Day 20: Fly or drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel with a free afternoon.

Nar-Phu Annapurna trekking begins taking an exciting long drive to reach Lamjung district around Nepal Mid-West within low and warmer areas enriched with vast agriculture farming of paddy fields and then following the raging Marysangdi River upstream. As walk progress after ending the drive at Syange village heading into mid-hills full of farm villages and interesting to witness its old heritage life of the local villagers with a mixed culture of both Hindu and Buddhism religions.
Slowly our route enters high ground encountering lovely alpine woodland of pines and rhododendron tree lines to reach around cooler areas at Kotto near Chame the headquarter town of Manang district. From Kotto village where our actual adventure starts on leaving the main and popular Annapurna circuit trails for a week into isolation walking within deep river gorge filled with a patch of forest in-between high rocky cliffs, walking through small settlement and farm villages to reach our promised land at Phu situated on the high scenic valley in the shade of mighty peaks of Himlung and Damodar Himal.
Strange and beautiful observing the village life and culture visiting its old monasteries of great interest, and then heading to its satellite village of Na, which similar to Phu but smaller due to its remoteness location near to Kang-La pass. With interesting moments in the complete wilderness within the total ambience of the marvellous surrounding of arid landscapes and snow-capped peaks as well exploring the hidden villages of immense custom and culture, and then getting ready to cross over a high scenic Kang-la pass to reach main Manang village.
Manang village located in a scenic valley enclosed by Annapurna and Chulus peaks with close views of Gangapurna mountain ice falls, where walk leads further west to traverse over the highest pass of the adventure above 5,416 m at Thorang-la with a mind-blowing panorama of dramatic landscapes and mountains of Dhaulagiri-Chulus-Damodar Himal with Mustang Mountains towards far North West.
On reaching Mustang area at holy Muktinath famous high Himalayan pilgrimage destinations for Hindu and Buddhist, regarded as a sacred spot where the word Mukti means Liberty of Freedom, where people from India and Nepal visit here to worship and bathe in its 108 natural waterspouts.
Here at Muktinath our adventurous walks complete taking a short drive to Jomsom, administrative and headquarter town of Mustang area, and home to Thakli tribe on this Old Trans Himalaya Salt Trade Route to Tibet from Nepal. From Jomsom, a scenic and spectacular flight takes you to beautiful Pokhara by its serene Phewa Lake where our outmost and magnificent adventure concludes with a wonderful experience on Nar-Phu Annapurna Trekking.
