Koshi Tappu Wild-Life Safari is an exciting jungle activity around the low lands of Nepal. Koshi Tappu Wild-Life Reserves Safari is among very few areas in Nepal and at Asia where a visitor can enjoy wild-life activities with various exotic bird-life watching programs. Koshi Tappu Wild Life Reserves Safari is listed as the country’s largest bird sanctuary and probably in Asia offers exciting jungle activities with birdlife of different species famous as a bird sanctuary and as well for wild animals with rare and endangered ‘Arna’ or Bison similar to wild Buffalo.

The area around Koshi Tappu Wild-Life Reserves covers 175 sq. km located on a flood plain of great Kosi Rivers where most of the mid-east and eastern rivers join to make Sapta Koshi a mighty river (formed by seven tributaries glacial rivers). An interesting place for bird lovers and other wild animals. The overland drive of nearly 8 hours from Kathmandu reaches you at this wonderful spot. The easiest and fastest way is taking a flight from Kathmandu to an industrial city, Biratnagar and a couple of hours drive takes you to Koshi Tappu Wild Reserve for a wildlife safari.

Enjoy perfect wilderness on this little island surrounded by Koshi Rivers and high grassland and tropical jungles and join in for an exciting safari on the lookout for animals and birdlife with rare Gangetic Dolphin sometimes spotted around this tranquil surrounding Reserves in the comfort of the nice journey.

Morning transfer to Kathmandu domestic airport as per flight time for Biratnagar airport around Nepal Far South Eastern Terai belt. During 45 minutes of air journey views of Himalayan peaks with Langtang, Jugal
The Himal range includes Mt. Everest and Mt. Makalu to Kanchenjunga in the far North East direction. Reaching Biratnagar airport received by lodge staff and jungle guides for the short drive to reach at KosiTappu Wild Life Reserve, on reaching the lodge or resorts
where the naturalist and manager brief you of the reserve rules and regulations including jungle programs on 3 night and 4 days visits. Transfer to your rooms and time for late lunch in a large dining hall with great
meals served. Afternoon nature / introductory walks or visit Tharu village the tribes of Nepal Terai belt, dinner in dining rooms.

Get engaged with two full days of exciting safari, where early morning time for a refreshing cup of tea/coffee starts jungle activities either elephant ride, jungle walks or bird watch tour. Return after jungle programs for breakfast and rest for a while and continue with short activities canoe rides to observe bird life and crocodile or chances of spotting rare and endangered Genetic Fresh Water Dolphins (smaller to see dolphins). Return with short walks for lunch with a few hours in the afternoon at leisure till next late afternoon activities. Late afternoon by 3 p.m. gathers on assembling spot for jungle safari elephant ride, jungle walks and nature tours, evening with time before dinner.
