Everest Panorama Trek Overview

Everest Panorama Trek 11 days trip starts from Kathmandu or Ramechhap with a sweeping flight to land at Lukla taking a small aircraft (Dornier, Twin Otter or similar types) from Kathmandu, and then enjoying pleasant walks through nice Sherpa villages enriched with age-old Buddhist culture and heritage.

The walk follows the Dudh Kosi River within alpine woodland facing grand views of high peaks to reach the high and famous Namche Bazaar, a large village or a town with many facilities with well-stocked shops and stores. At Namche, you can explore its market once a week. From Namche, you’ll head much higher to reach the villages of Khunde and Khumjung with beautiful views along the walks. The traditional and peaceful villages are located in a beautiful valley.

Our final spot of the trek is Tengboche, it is a scenic spot reachable within a short time. Tengboche Monastery has to be its main attraction. A festival is held once a year in October or November according to the Buddhist Lunar calendar. It’ll be a great place to be to feel its natural beauty in the harmony of high mountains and prayer chanting during this time of the year. The trekking journey comes to an end as we walk back to Lukla for the short flight to Kathmandu after a short, mesmerizing and wonderful Everest adventure.

This 11-day trek package is a special fit for those who can not walk to higher altitudes or have less time and want to view the majestic peaks in the Himalayas. It is regarded as one of the most rewarding treks in Nepal as it offers amazing views even with a short and easy trek. Thyangboche Monastery is the highest point of this wonderful Everest Panorama View Trek which is at 3,867 m. The trekking area is enclosed by green vegetation and tall tree lines of rhododendron, oaks, pines, silver firs and birch. Thyangboche is the best spot for views of the highest peaks in the world like Mt. Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam.

Flight Delays: Due to the geographical diversity and unpredictable climate in the Himalayas, internal flights are often delayed or cancelled. Weather conditions like heavy rainfall, storms, or fog can disrupt flights. So, it is wise to spare an extra day or two as buffer days, in case of flight delays and cancellations. Likewise, it is also necessary to note that the weather conditions are great during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons. If you have enough time, you can also choose road transportation in such cases.

Note: Due to the Air Traffic at Tribhuvan International Airport, all flights to and from Lukla will now be operated from Ramechhap Airport, which is a 4-hour drive from Kathmandu. The transportation to and from Ramechhap will be provided by the company. Thus, it’s good to keep a few extra days after a trek in case of flight delay or cancellation.
