Day 1 Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu.
A flight to Kathmandu will give you a glimpse of high Himalayans and beautiful valley. Upon arriving outside the terminal, you will meet Heaven Nepal Adventure’s airport representative. They will transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, linger around the colorful market. After a delicious Nepali dinner, take rest at a cozy hotel.

Day 2 Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour.
tart the day with an early morning breakfast then hop into the vehicle. Our cultural tour guide will escort you to the different places in Kathmandu, starting with Kathmandu Durbar Square.
Kathmandu Durbar Square: It is a journey into the timeless world of colorful culture, historic palaces reflecting the ancient culture of Newari people. The old plaza has multiple entrances. It feels like we have entered into a different world and the sight of colorful local shops makes the experience unforgettable. The elaborated carved wooden pieces, traditional architectures, arts, and Newari craftsmanship makes the plaza vibrant. The fabulous complex comprises of Basantapur tower, Kalbhairave statue, Ashok Vinayak temple, Kabindrapur, Taleju Temple, Kotilingeshwara Mahadev temple, Kumari Ghar, Indrapur temple, Hanuman statue, Hanumandhoka, and Gaddi Baithak Palace.
Swayambhunath: Swayambhunath, located at an elevation feels like the most peaceful and quaint place. The fascinating history and unparalleled architectures draw many tourists here. The major attractions of Swoyambhunath are small lakes, stupas, old paintings, a statue of Buddha, gumbas, chortens, and temples. The oldest entrance comprises of 365 staircases however, many alternative entrances has been constructed over the year to make the trip easier. The plaza has multiple vantage points offering an aerial view of Kathmandu city. After strolling around the Swoyambhunath, we will head to our next destination.
Pashupatinath: Around a half an hour drive from Swayambhunath will take us to one of the most sacred places in Nepal, Pashupatinath. Pashupatinath is noted for its religious significance and distinct architecture. The major attraction of this plaza is a temple of Lord Shiva set on the bank of a holy river. There are multiple temples, statues, and monuments to check out. Stroll around the plaza for around an hour then head to Bouddhanath.
Bouddhanath: Bouddhanath, the beautiful plaza set amid the noisy neighborhood yet embodies a strange sense of peace. The premise of Bouddhanath consists of a huge stupa, gumbas, temples, chortens, and temples. Check out high-end restaurants, bakeries, Nepali and Tibetan handicraft shops while performing kora. If you want to buy souvenirs, you will find a variety of items here. After concluding our Nepal tour, we will head back to the hotel.

Day 3 Fly to Bhadrapur and Transfer to Darjeeling (150 km) 5 hrs.
After an early morning breakfast, we will drive to the airport. Board your flight to Bhadrapur. In Bhadrapur airport, our representative will meet you and drive you to Darjeeling. It will be a scenic drive of around 4 to 5 hours. We will be driving on the road carved on hills covered with lush vegetation. Upon arriving Darjeeling, We will check into the hotel, freshen up and head out for a short evening walk.
Darjeeling is a beautiful town on the foothill of mighty Himalayans. The beautiful city embodies lush forests, mesmerizing tea gardens, green meadows, and hills. It has a peaceful atmosphere making it a perfect place to relax.

Day 4 Darjeeling.
Wake up before the dawn. We will see today’s sunrise from the top of the Tiger Hills, a popular vantage point in Darjeeling. After witnessing the sun rising above the Kanchenjunga Himal, we will hike down to Jorbanglow where we will explore Yiga Choeling Monastery built in 1850. After discovering the monastery and delving into this beauty for a while, we will head to our breakfast spot. We then travel on the Toy Train to Ghoom, the highest hill station here. Returning back to Darjeeling, we will pay a visit to Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. The institution was built by the first PM of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
We continue our sightseeing by exploring Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park. Built on 14th August 1958, the zoo houses around 156 animals including red pandas and snow leopards. Our next destination is the Tibetan Refugee Center. Catch sight of Tibetan craftsmen weaving woolen carpets and carpet, checkout finely carved wooden pieces, and leather goods.
Completing a short tour in Tibetan Refugee Center, we will head to explore tea factory. Here we will learn procedures for producing tea. Return to the hotel, freshen up then head out for dinner.

Day 5 Darjeeling - Gangtok (98 Km/ 04 hrs).
A refreshing breakfast is followed by a drive of four hours from Darjeeling to Gangtok. Leaving the delicious aroma of tea behind we will drive on the scenic road leading to Gangtok. Upon reaching Gangtok, complete the hotel’s check-in formalities, freshen up and collect your gears to capture the beauty of this heavenly place. Return to hotel by the evening, have dinner then take rest.
The capital of Sikkim, Gangtok is a small town nestled at an elevation of 1650 m. Nature lover’s paradise, the place is a perfect blend of modernity and tradition. The place offers a captivating view of glorious mountains, lakes, garden, and zoological park.

Day 6 Gangtok.
Post breakfast, we will head out for a full day Gangtok sightseeing. First, we will pay a visit to Rumtek Monastery. Built in the mid-1700s, it is the largest monastery in Sikkim. The colorful architectures, beautiful arts and crafts make it a major tourist attraction. Check out the relics of the 16th Karmapa before heading to Enchey Monastery. Explore the ancient paintings, murals, elaborately carved pillars and windows then Do Drul Chorten and Tibetology and Cottage Industry. In the Research Institute of Tibetology, we will learn about the Buddhist religion and philosophy. The institute houses several statues, ancient arts and rare ‘Thangkha’. Concluding the Gangtok sightseeing, we will head back to the hotel.

Day 7 Gangtok - Excursion Tsomgo Lake (2 & 1/2 hrs - one way).
avor a delectable breakfast and go on to discover the beauty of Tsomgo Lake. The holy Tsomgo Lake holds a great significance among the Sikkimese. The beautiful lake is surrounded by panoramic beauty. We will explore the temple of a lord Shiva set nearby the lake. Alpine vegetation and Primula flowers enhance the beauty of this pristine lake. During winter, the lake frozen completely. The lake houses few rainbow trout so we have to be extremely lucky to get a glimpse of it. Delve into the serene atmosphere, enjoy the view and snap pictures before heading back to the hotel. Have a delicious dinner before calling it a day.

Day 8 Gangtok - Phuntsholing (227 Km / 6 hrs) then enter Bhutan.
Today is our last day in Darjeeling. After an early morning breakfast, we will depart to Phuntsholing, the border town of Bhutan. It is around six hours drive from Gangtok. Upon reaching Coronation Bridge, our guide will hand you over to Bhutan Associate.
Since it’s a visa on arrival, our Bhutanese representative will help you complete the visa procedures in Phuntsholing. The gateway to Bhutan, Phuntsholing is a small market. The place is dominated by Indian and Bhutanese. It will be a long, tiring day, we will check into the hotel and freshen up. In the evening, stroll around Phuntsholing, witness a distinct lifestyle and culture.

Day 9 Phuentsholing - Thimpu.
Wake up early in the morning, have filling breakfast then hop into a comfortable four-wheeler. Today is going to be a long day as we will be driving all the way to Thimpu. Throughout our journey, we will be showered by some of the finest natural wonders. The sight of cascading waterfall carving through mountains is quite common. In between the drive, we will take a few breaks to enjoy the beauty and stretch our legs. We will take a short break and enjoy the view of the confluence of Thimpu and Paro rivers in Chhuzom. Local vendors sell dried cheese, apples and vegetables by the road. We will stop at one of the finest restaurants for lunch. Upon reaching Thimpu, check into the hotel, freshen up and head out to explore Thimpu.
The capital of Bhutan, Thimpu is the most developed and modern town in Thimpu and holds a large number of hotels, restaurants, nightclubs yet have not forgotten its cultural values. Some of the major attraction of this city are Semtokha Dzong, Centenary Farmer’s Market, National Memorial Chorten, Tango, and Chari Monasteries, the Motithang Takin Preserve, the Clock Tower Square and the National Post Office. Here we will get the opportunity to learn the culture, custom, literature, music, and monastic practices.

Day 10 Thimphu-Punakha.
Before heading to Punakha, we will explore Thimpu so start the day early and have breakfast. We will pay a visit to Memorial Chorten. Our next destination will be Changangkha Monastery. The monastery was built by Lama Phajo Drukgon Shigpo in the 12th century. The historic monastery is set on the ridge. After strolling around for a bit, we will head to discover Takin reserve, traditional paper factory and Nunnery temple. Before heading back to the hotel for lunch, we will pay a visit to Kusenselphodrang. The most happening place in entire Bhutan, Kusenselphodrang houses the largest status of Buddha. From here, we can have an amazing view of Thimpu.
After lunch, we will begin our journey to Punakha. The scenic road features some of the most picturesque spots including Dochu La. The place offers panoramic vistas of the Himalayans. Spend some time soaking up the beauty then follow the downhill route leading to the forests of Rhododendron, hemlock, and fir forest. Enjoy the view of the beautiful rice field and drive alongside the Punakha river to reach Punakha. Punakha, the former capital city of Bhutan is carved by two major rivers, Mo Chu, and Pho Chu.

Day 11 Punakha-Paro.
After a good night’s sleep, it’s time to start another fun-filled day. Post breakfast, we will go on to explore Punakha Dzong, an ancient monastery with great architecture and a lovely setting. It is set amid two raging rivers and looks like a giant ship from far. After exploring the beautiful monastery, we will start our journey to Paro.
On the way to Paro, there lies another must-visit attraction i.e. Chimi Lhakhang. However, there is no motorway. We will embark on a short hike from Metshina Village. Walk for around twenty minutes to reach this temple. Devotees visit this temple to get the blessings of Lama’s wooden phallus. Head back to the village, hop into the vehicle then head to Dochula, our lunch spot. After resting for a while, we will continue our journey to Paro. Day 12 Hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery.
2th day of the tour is reserved to explore the most coveted area of Bhutan i.e. Tiger’s Nest. Bhutan tour is completely incomplete if we miss visiting this monastery. Savor the delicious breakfast before heading to Tiger’s Nest. We will follow the rocky paths dotted with prayer’s flags. On the way up, we will have our lunch. The finely carved monastery on the top of the hill offers amazing vistas of high Himalayans above and beautiful valley below. Explore the place but do not take pictures, it’s prohibited. Hike down to Paro and stroll around the town. We will come across multiple souvenir and handicrafts shops. If you want to do some shopping, you may do so. Return back to the hotel, have dinner and take rest.

Day 13 Depart Paro.
Wake up early in the morning, pack your belongings and have breakfast. Today, you will be flying to Kathmandu. Our Bhutanese representatives will drive you to Paro airport as per your flight schedule. After landing in Kathmandu, Our Nepali representative will pick you then transfer you to your hotel. They will help you to complete the check-in formalities. Savor the delicious dinner and take rest.

Day 14 Farewell.
Darjeeling and Bhutan Tour comes to an end today. As per your flight schedule, our airport representative will pick you from the hotel to take you to the Tribhuvan International Airport.
