Day 1 On arrival at Kathmandu airport 1,340 m meet our staff and transfer to the hotel.
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, we will meet you at the airport and drive you to the hotel. The team will explain all the trek details. In the meantime, you can freshen up and relax at the hotel.

Day 2 At Kathmandu with options for a tour with time for trek preparations.
The second day of the trip begins with a hearty breakfast followed by a beautiful sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city. You’ll be accompanied by an experienced tour guide who will take you on a tour of some of the most famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the city. Depending on your schedule, you will get to visit Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
Swayambhunath and Boudhanath are the two most revered stupas in Kathmandu. You will witness many local pilgrims circumnavigating around the stupa. Pashupatinath, on the other hand, remains one of the most frequently visited Hindu sites in Nepal. In the evening, you can visit Thamel to shop for the necessary trek gear and equipment.

Day 3 Drive or fly to Pokhara 860 m – 06 hrs ride or 30 mins via air.
Today, you’ll embark on a scenic flight to Pokhara, one of the most preferred tourist getaways in Nepal. The city serves as the gateway to the Annapurna region. Followed by a delicious breakfast, you’ll drive to the airport and catch a short flight to Pokhara. It takes almost 30 minutes to reach Pokhara by air. From the flight, you can view the pristine sight of the lush forested hills and snow-capped mountains in the north. Once in Pokhara, you’ll check into the hotel. After freshening up, you can explore the beautiful lakeside.

Day 4 Drive to Bhirethati or Nayapul and start walk to Tirkhedhunga 1,440 m - 05 hrs.
The trek to Ghandruk and Poon Hill Camp begins with a short drive to Nayapul. Located 2 hours outside of Pokhara, Nayapul opens up the trail to the beautiful Annapurna Conservation Area (ACAP). You can choose to drive further towards Birethanti village located just above Nayapul. The scenic trek begins alongside the lush terraced fields. The trail slowly advances through the slightly forested path towards Tikhedhunga. A 5 hours hike will take you through the traditionally rich Gurung and Magar villages en route to Tikhedhunga.

Day 5 Trek to Ghorepani 2,856 m via Ulleri village of 06 hrs walks maximum.
The fresh morning air will fill your lungs. After breakfast, you’ll embark on the trek and head towards Ghorepani village. A short trek from Tikhedhunga will bring you to Ulleri village. The Ulleri village is known for the mighty 3200 stone step leading the way towards Ghorepani. You will begin climbing the stairs viewing the beautiful sight of the nearby settlements. After a 3-4 hour long ascend, you’ll finally arrive at Ghorepani village which welcomes you with the majestic sight of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna massif.

ay 6 Morning hike to Poon Hill 3,210 m for sunrise over the mountain and walk to Tadapani 2,635 m – 05 hrs.
You’ll wake up early today and embark on an hour-long uphill hike towards the viewpoint at Poon Hill. The scenic hilltop located at a short distance from Ghorepani boasts a majestic view of the sunrise and sunset. The weather remains clear in the morning offering the majestic panorama of the nearby mountains including Annapurna I, II, III, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, and Nilgiri. From here, you’ll descend back to Ghorepani for breakfast. Then, you’ll start your 5-hour long hike and begin descending along with the beautiful rhododendron forests towards Tadapani village.

Day 7 Trek to Tolka village 1,560 m via Ghandruk and Landruk village – 06 hrs.
Heading downhill from Tadapani, you’ll take a detour and head towards the least visited Tolka village inside Annapurna Conservation Area. Although it is a major transit between the Dhampus and Landruk, only a portion of tourists stays in this village. Along the trail, you’ll make brief stops at Ghandruk and Landruk village as the straight descend and ascend may be difficult. A short trek from Landruk will bring you to Tolka.

Day 8 Trek to Dhampus village 1,540 m – 04 hrs walks and drive to Pokhara – 01 hr.
On the last day of the trek, you’ll indulge in an easy hike through the lushly forested trail. You will find a sparsely populated village along this trail. A short uphill and downhill trek will bring you to the beautiful Dhampus village. A major tourist site, Dhampus remains a frequently visited place for a night stay by both local and international tourists. From Dhampus, you’ll catch your commute and drive back to Pokhara city. The short drive will take you through Baglung Highway and takes you to your hotel located just beside the beautiful Phewa Lake. In the evening, you can dine in one of the finest restaurants in Pokhara.

Day 9 Fly or drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel with a free afternoon.
Monday, you will bid farewell to the beautiful lake city of Pokhara. You can either choose to fly back to Kathmandu or indulge in a 6 hour long drive through the bustling Trishuli Highway. Once in Kathmandu, you can choose to visit the Thamel area to shop for souvenirs and to enjoy a lavish farewell dinner.

Day 10 International departure for homeward bound.
It marks the last day of the Annapurna Panorama Views Trip. You’ll bid farewell to your guide and take a short drive to the airport. You can choose to share your next holiday plans and destination with us.

1. Annapurna Sunrise seems like a wonderful walks can I bring family with children?
Certainly, this will be an exciting holiday for your people as well as for adults, where walking leads to ups and downs that are only the tough bit, otherwise, it’s a great interesting walk for all. For minor infants please bring a carriage with straps to carry the younger kids, especially on ups and down trails, where we can hire extra porters to carry the baby with the carriage.

2. When can I book for Annapurna Sunrise Views Trekking?
Depending upon your time and duration for the trek you can book this trip at least 2-3 weeks ahead of our departure dates for the trek, with advance payment as per the norms and rules of the company. Make sure that you have checked your medical and physical fitness before signing for the trip and as well purchasing medical and travel insurance which is very important for this kind of adventurous trek in Nepal Himalaya.

3. How many people will be in the group?
From a minimum of 3-4 people in the group with a maximum of 10-15 persons in the group, in some cases we do allow booking for a single person as well, running independently at an extra cost than in groups.

4. What will be weather like on the trek?
The season-wise, where best time is from March to May when most of the day is clear with minimum temperatures of 0° to 20° Celsius depending upon the altitude and areas. Where most of the morning till midday clears for views and walks, sometimes the afternoon can get overcast with chances of light rains and snow. March to May will be lively with wildflowers in full bloom especially various species of rhododendron (the national flower of Nepal) from trees to short bushes.

5. How are the lodge and Tea-House on Treks?
Tea-House is the word used in the early days when there were smaller numbers of lodges on route trekking, at present each village has more than 10 to 20 good lodges with pleasant room accommodations, serving excellent food menus as per the season-wise. Some villages above 2,500 m do have nice lodges, but due to freezing cold temperatures at night and morning time where they have toilets on the outside, with some inside as common bathrooms and restrooms. All rooms and dining with warm heating and cosy facilities make your stay much more pleasant and enjoyable.

6. Are there electricity and network for cell-phones?
Most of the places do have electricity on route trekking run by hydro-power after main villages, where much of electric supply is private and individual of the lodge owners with sun / solar power to activate electricity just for the lodge and as well for customers to charge their computers and cell-phones. Some places do have networks for cell phones and as well for internet like Wi-Fi above Dingboche and in some areas due to high peaks and hills, the networks are disturbed in deep areas like river gorge areas. At present nearly all people in Nepal including remote villages do have assistance with cell phones with fine network connections only in bad weather the line can be broken, otherwise it is fine and in working order.

7. What happens if some is sick and have to break the trek?
In this situation where our guides are well equipped with knowledge for emergency and medical purposes, depending upon the seriousness of the victims if it is much critical where the nearest medical attention is needed, we call for immediate evacuation for Helicopter services to reach the victims to the nearest medical station and hospital.

8. What to expect on this journey?
Scenic views of the world’s highest mountains with the Dhaulagiri-Annapurna and Manaslu ranges include magnificent Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail’ peaks, where a walk leads you around Buddhist country interwoven with old traditional life and custom similar to Tibetans. The walk leads to visiting Poon-Magar and Gurung villages and encountering many farm fields and terraces of interesting traditional life of the local villagers.

9. Who are Gurung - Magar / Poon people?
Gurung-Poon of Magar tribes are high hills people of Nepal Far Mid-West Himalaya spread out throughout Nepal, where most concentrated within Annapurna and Dhaulagiri area of both Hindu and Buddhist religion and origin, these hill tribes are famous as legendry Gurkha soldiers in foreign legion and army like British, India as well some as a police force in Singapore and security guards in many parts of the world overseas. Besides men-folk as famous Gurkha soldiers, the hill people are mostly farmers and cattle herders as a traditional profession.

10. Is it really spectacular in flowering times of March to May?
Absolutely the best months of the year and seasons for botany students, flower and nature lovers, where hills and valleys are alive with wild flowers in full bloom with riots of different colours, rhododendron from tall trees to short bushes will be in flowering times, rhododendron national flower of Nepal also.
