Trip Overview

Mt Everest View Trek a short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla marks the start of your 7 days Everest experience. From Lukla, you will start to trek towards cool alpine areas with tree lines of rhododendron, pines and firs. You’ll also walk through impressive Sherpa farm villages to reach Namche Bazaar. It’s located on route Everest base camp and is known for its landscapes and mountain vibes. While viewpoints around Namche offer good mountain views, Everest View Hotel is a must-visit for the views. You’ll thank yourself as you sip your coffee with Mt Everest in front of you.

The short scenic trekking adventure completes as you head back to Lukla for the sweeping panoramic flight back to Kathmandu. You can choose to trek further to Tengboche or return back to Lukla for a flight back to Kathmandu. Tengboche is best known for its monastery and it’ll take a couple of days more for you to trek to Tengboche.

Everest View Trek is a cultural and scenic adventure around the Everest region offering exceptional scenery and panoramic views in less than a week. The trek is known to amaze travellers with its amazing scenery of the world’s immense mountains. You will get a chance to explore the harmony of the Sherpa culture of Buddhism in the Everest Region. This trek of a week’s duration lets you explore the Everest Region without much of your effort. It is specially designed to fit travellers of all ages and fitness levels. Moreover, the trek is ideal for those who want to experience the Everest region with a close view of its majestic mountains, scenery and culture in a short time.

Everest View Trek Itinerary:

Day 01: On arrival at Kathmandu airport 1,340 m meet our staff and transfer to the hotel.
Day 02: At Kathmandu with options for a tour with time for trek preparations.
Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2,820m) – 30 mins and trek to Phakding (2,635 m) – 4 hrs.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) – 6 hrs.
Day 05: At Namche Bazaar rest day with a short hike to support acclimatization.
Day06: Trek to Lukla – 4 hrs.
Day 07: International departure.

Day 1 On arrival at Kathmandu airport 1,340 m meet our staff and transfer to hotel.

After your arrival in Kathmandu, our team will receive you for the short drive to your hotel in Thamel. We’ll then brief you with information regarding the trek and culture in Nepal. In the evening, you’ll enjoy dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant with a cultural performance.
Day 2 At Kathmandu with options for tour and trek preparations.

The second day is a free day in Kathmandu. You can join in for a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. Historical and religious world heritage sites are the major attractions of Kathmandu. You can also choose to prepare for the trek or wander on your own if you do not wish to join in for the city tour.
Day 3 Fly to Lukla (2,820m) and trek to Phakding (2,635m) - 30 mins flight and 4 hrs trek.

You’ll fly to Lukla which usually happens early morning. A scenic short flight of 30 mins will take you to the gateway of Everest, Lukla.

With time in Lukla for refreshing stops, the walk starts accompanied by our native guide and porters. Trek begins with pleasant downhill towards the Dudh Kosi river. Our route leads further encountering prayer walls and spinning bells to reach our first overnight stop at Phakding village.
Day 4 Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m 05 - 06 hrs.

ur second-day walk is comparatively long, you’ll reach the village at Monjo with views of Thermasarkhu peaks. From here, a short descent will take you to the entrance of the Sagarmatha National Park. You’ll have to obtain National Park permits here.

Crossing a bridge, you’ll reach Jorsalle, the last village before climbing to Namche Bazaar. Lunch stops are a possibility here with walks leading further towards river banks into lovely woodland of pines and rhododendron and finally to Namche.

Namche Bazaar is located at 3,440m with stunning landscapes and decorated with beautiful houses serving as hotels, lodges and resorts.
Day 5 At Namche Bazaar rest day with short hike to support acclimatization.

We’ll stay at Namche Bazaar to support acclimatization at this altitude of 3,440m. A short hike to Everest View Hotel above Namche Bazaar offers grand views of Everest, Amadablam and adjoining peaks.

Other acclimatization options are Park Museum areas for mighty views of Everest, Lhotse and stunning Amadablam peaks. The museum showcases the history of trekking and mountaineering in the Everest region.
Day 6 Trek to Lukla. - 5/6 hrs

On the last trekking day of the adventure, the walk follows Dudh Kosi River all the way to Phakding village and then towards Lukla.

After a final climb of the journey rest of the walk is easy going through Lukla town and its markets place to our overnight stop in a nice lodge.
Day 7 Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

You’ll fly back to Kathmandu on a sweeping and panoramic flight. You’ll stay in the hotel for a free afternoon.
Day 8 International departure for home ward bound.

Today is your last day in Nepal, our team will drop you off at the airport for your flight back home.

The flights to/from Lukla are likely to be rescheduled due to uncertain weather in the mountains. So, it’s better to plan for a few extra days.

I've been there - Everest Base Camp. I am a tour operator in Romania and I booked with Heaven Nepal, Everst Base Camp trek and return with helicopter for my group of 10 people. I choose for luxury accommodation and everything was well organised! The guide Deek Thapa was very calm and he explain us very day the plan for next day! Porters was very nice and they take care of us. Nobody was alone, all the time a porter was close to help. Very nice team and good collaboration between them.
