Itinerary

Day 1 On arrival at Kathmandu airport 1,340 m meet our staff and transfer to hotel.
Landing at Kathmandu and Nepal international airport, where our guide or staff receives you for a short drive to your respective hotels in the hub of Kathmandu. After checking into your nice rooms with rest after a jet lag, and then rendezvous with another group member of Tent Peak or Tharpu Chuli Peak climb, where our guide/leader will brief you with information regarding the treks, hotels and lodge with Nepalese culture, do’s and don’ts. In the evening enjoys a grand welcome dinner in typical Nepalese restaurants with various native cultures as entertainment.

Day 2 At Kathmandu with options for tour with time for trek preparations.
At Kathmandu, a free day where one can join in our interesting sightseeing tour options, as the capital Kathmandu of Nepal is steeped with historical and religious monuments of world heritage sites. Afternoon at leisure and preparation for Tent Peak or Tharpu Chuli Peak climb, starting next early morning with overland or flight to beautiful Pokhara.

Day 3 Drive to Fly to Pokhara 860 m - 06 hrs ride and 30 mins via air.
As per group size taking a coach or in tourist standard bus for the interesting overland journey to reach Nepal Mid-West at Pokhara, where a drive leads to much warmer farm areas past many towns and villages with views of snow-capped peaks, and then reaching finally at scenic Pokhara by its calm Phewa Lake. (Flying options of 30 mins panoramic flights to land at Pokhara from Kathmandu)

Day 4 Drive to Nayapul start walk to Ghandruk village 1,930 m- 05 hrs.
After a pleasant overnight stop at Pokhara facing views of Annapurna Himalaya range of mountains with Machhapuchare peaks ‘Fish Tail’, having hearty breakfast in the hotel then drive beyond Pokhara to commence our first day walks.
Journey with grand views of Annapurna heading past farm villages and towns and then by reaching at the bank of Modi River to reach at Bhirethati, one of the most charming villages around Annapurna area. From here the walk starts following the Modi River for short while around low and warmer farm areas and then on stone steps uphill to reach a large Gurung village at Ghandruk often spelt and pronounced as Ghandrung also. At Ghandruk overnight in a nice comfortable lodge with a view of Annapurna peaks with time to visit this nice Gurung village, which is also a gateway to many trekking and adventure around Annapurna areas.

Day 5 Trek to Chomrong 2,170 m - 06 hrs.
From Ghandruk morning walk up at the village top and then on a gradual path for a short while soon our route picks to a climb to reach Kimrong Danda (ridge) with some Tea House and Lodge. Here with short break downhill into cool forested trails to reach the valley floor of
Kimrong River with its nice farm village located in this peaceful valley, from here climbs start for an hour or more to reach a hilltop. After the climb on a gradual winding path paved with fine stonework to reach above Chomrong village and then a short descent to reach our overnight place within the nice and large village of Chomrong. A large Gurung village is similar to Ghandruk which is the last permanent human settlement on route to Annapurna Base Camp and Sanctuary.

Day 6 Trek to Dovan 2,630 m - 06 hrs.
After Chomrong on the downhill to cross a bridge over the Chomrong river with uphill to Sinuwa danda (ridge) with a couple of Tea-House and shops, where walk leads into deeply forested areas on winding ups and then descend into dense woodland with bamboo grooves to a place called also as Bamboo.
A small settlement to cater for the needs of the trekkers with many good lodges located in a river gorge surrounded by a forest of rhododendron pines and bamboo. From the Bamboo place, the walk is gradual into woods with easy ups to reach Dovan for overnight stops in a small remote and isolated place with few lodges for travellers.

Day 7 Trek to Machhapuchare Base Camp 3,700 m - 06 hrs.
Slowly our adventure leads closer to our aim and highlight as the walk leads into winding ups into the forest past a lonely place called Himalaya Hotel, located next to the large overhanging cave Hinko which is directly beneath Annapurna South and Huin-Chuli peaks.
From Himalaya Hotel downhill near Modi River than with a short climb to reach Deurali where tall tree lines stop for short alpine bushes, walk carries on uphill following Modi river right up to our overnight stop at Machhapuchare base camp located at the bottom of majestic North Face of Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail’.

Day 8 Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) at 4,130 m - 03 hrs.
An easy and short day morning walk to Annapurna base camp, as from Machhapuchare where Annapurna Sanctuary starts right up to base camp, walk leads to short ups to reach a level ground on a huge field or a plateau within Sanctuary enclosed by an array of peak and soon walk leads to a welcome sign-post of Annapurna Base Camp.
Reaching our final destination and the highest spot at above 4,130 m high situated beneath towering Mt. Annapurna and a range of other peaks of Vara-Shikar, Gangapurna with Annapurna South. Annapurna Base Camp, is the one and only base camp in the whole Himalayas region with the facility of the nice and cosy lodge including a nice food menu and rooms facing amazing views of Annapurna peaks.

Day 9 Trek to Tent peak base camp 4,450 m / 14,600 ft - 05 hrs.
After a pleasant time at Annapurna Base Camp, the walk leads to crossing several snow-covered moraine rocky paths and then towards an icy trail for an hour reaching Annapurna south glacier. The walk offers fabulous views of high peaks, then after a few hours of good trek reaching a flat area to set our base camp, the first-night camping and in tents for Tent Peak climb, afternoon at leisure preparation for the climb and acclimatization.

Day 10 Trek to High Camp 5,200 m / 17,056 ft - 04 hrs.
Best to add one more camp before a big haul to reach the summit top, from base camp head further with a steep climb on a rocky and icy glacier with boulders, climb continue to reach at the high camp of 5,200 meters, afternoon free at leisure and preparation for the summit bid with time to marvel the sunset views over the massif mountains.

Day 11 Climb Tent Peak summit and return to Base Camp - 06 hrs.
Starting early morning then climb on a snow slope which is steep with some technical sections to reach the summit; our guide will fix ropes where it is necessary to reach the summit, on reaching the top with successful effort, where you feel on top of the world with an amazing panorama of mountains that surrounds you and descend safely to the base camp of Tent Peak.

Day 12 Spare and Contingency day in case of unfavorable weather for the climb.
A reserve day in case of the technical problems as well weather permitting, where the extra day will be used for another attempt to reach the summit of Tent Peak, if all goes well according to the standard itinerary, using the spare day on the way back to Kathmandu with slow and easy time.

Day 13 Trek back to Annapurna Base Camp - 05 hrs.
The morning after breakfast from the last camp with an overnight in tents, after cleaning up the base camp and then packing, return back to Annapurna Base Camp on an icy path for 4-5 hours to Annapurna base camp in the comfort of the lodge.

Day 14 Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo 2,345 m - 06 hrs.
Enjoying lovely and pleasant scenic times at Annapurna base camp a long walk of near six hours leads you downhill with short ups to reach Bamboo and back into tall tree lines and lush vegetation, after being in the arctic zone climate at Annapurna base camp and sanctuary.

Day 15 Trek to Jhinu village 1,780m with Hot Spring - 06 hrs.
The return journey back to Chomrong with ups and downhill trail, from Chomrong hilltop our route diverts to another fresh new trail to reach a nice hill village at Jhinu located on a ridge with grand scenery of rolling hills and mountains. Jhinu provides a refreshing natural hot spring for interested people which is a mere distance downhill of half-hour to the hot spring with two nice warm pools close to the raging Modi River.

Day 16 Trek to road head and drive to Pokhara-05 hrs.
On our last day of trekking, where morning leads to a nice pleasant walk downhill within the low and warm farm and paddy fields areas, where an interesting drive takes you to scenic and beautiful Pokhara for overnight stops by famous serene Lake Phewa.

Day 17 Drive or fly back to Kathmandu afternoon free at leisure.
Morning from Pokhara an exciting overland journey back to Kathmandu on route observe Nepalese country life as drive leads past farm villages and towns and to reach Kathmandu around afternoon time, rest of the day free for individual activities and shopping souvenirs.

Day 18 International departure for home ward bound.
After a wonderful time in Nepal with an amazing time in the high mountains enjoying walks on Tent Peak-Tharpu Chuli Climb and at Annapurna Base Camp Trek, with last day in the Himalayan country enjoying awesome adventures where our staff and guide transfer you to the airport for your flight back home or to next port of call.
