Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Kathmandu airport 1,340m and transfer to hotel.
You’ll land at Kathmandu Airport to be greeted by us. We’ll then drive you to your hotel. Also, our guide will brief you about the trek and also tell you more about Nepal along with do’s and don’ts.
In the evening, you’ll enjoy a grand welcome dinner in a typical Nepalese restaurant with local cultural entertainment.

Day 2 Free Day in Kathmandu with options for trek preparation.
On this day, you’ll be free in Kathmandu. You can go for a sightseeing tour in Kathmandu or you can also choose to prepare for the trek. Kathmandu is full of places to see. So, the sightseeing is something you would not want to miss.

Day 3 Fly to Phaplu and transfer to lodge with afternoon free to explore
The 30-minute flight to Phaplu normally takes off in the morning. You can see the mountains and landscapes of the Everest Region through your window.
You will stop at Phaplu overnight. The village is inhabited mostly by Sherpa people with some Rai, Magar and Tamang. You can walk around to observe Sherpa farm villages enriched with Buddhist religion and colourful culture.

Day 4 Trek to Jampre 2,920m - 5/6 hrs
Easy moderate walks on winding trail heading past farms and villages with distant views of snow-capped peaks towards the north is a common experience on the trek. The first-day trek continues with a few stops to observe local farm life, and witness villagers and children as the walk leads further west to reach Jampre for an overnight stop, a moderate size farm village with time to interact with the locals.

Day 5 Trek to Pikey Peak Base Camp 3,640m - 06 hrs
The second day of the trek leads us closer to our major destination leaving farm villages and human settlements. The walk takes you through lovely dense woodland covered with tall rhododendron, magnolia, oaks, hemlocks, pines and fir trees. Walks will slowly lead to a small grazing pasture for domesticated animals of the local villages.
Pikey Hill trek is slowly getting popular where few simple lodges have been established around for the comfort of travellers. You’ll stay overnight at Pikey Base Camp and be ready for next early morning hike to Pikey Peak top.

Day 6 Trek to Pikey Hill top (4,302 m) 14,114 ft for sunrise panorama of mountains and trek down to Loding (2,515m) - 5/6 hrs
Starting early morning and carrying a pack lunch the walk leads to the well-maintained path within a deep forest area. Trek continues with some refreshing breaks in between, and then finally reaches our much-awaited highlight of the adventure, Pikey Peak. It’s the highest spot of the journey at above 4,302m where you’ll face an outstanding panorama of mountain ranges of mountains and the sunrise.
Pikey Peak top offers views of Ganesh, Langtang, Jugal, Gaurishankar, Melung Tse Number and Mt. Everest. After witnessing the amazing sunrise, walking downhill takes you to a nice village; Lodging for an overnight stop.

Day 7 Trek to Phaplu 2,413 m - 05 hrs
The walk starts in the morning on the same scenic path downhill and into a cool coniferous forest to reach back at Sherpa village of Phaplu. You’ll have time to explore around with the last overnight in Solukhumbu.

Day 8 Flight from Phaplu to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
An early morning flight will take you back to Kathmandu. You will have time to dwell around the streets of Kathmandu to explore more as it’s your second last day in Nepal.

Day 9 International departure for homeward bound.
We’ll drive you to the airport and the journey finally comes to an end with you returning back to your home.
